Werkwijze

Would you like to become a dealer, or do you need space for an international project? Then you’ve come to the right place. We work exclusively with dealers, or directly with the end-user in large international projects.

Our strength lies in the production of system buildings in kit form. Everything is “made in Holland” and comes straight from our own factory. That way we keep the production under our control and we can guarantee the quality of our buildings. Thanks to our years of experience, our specialised team and our unique machinery, we are capable of delivering a suitable solution for your ideas or those of your customers.

A good price/performance ratio, speed, and flexibility are what you can expect from us.

Manufacturer of buildings, since 1935

1935

Let’s go back in time, to Rotterdam in the 1930s, when Jan Snoei Sr. started a business in garden supplies. It didn’t take long before his business took a very different direction…

1935

1948

After the Second World War Jan Snoei decided to change the direction of his business and started purchasing used Romney huts. Originally Romney huts had been used primarily for military purposes or as emergency accommodations during the war. After the war, the huts were successfully being used in various ways, which Jan Snoei cleverly took advantage of. In addition to the Romney hut, the Nissen hut and the Quonset hut (also called the Quinset hut) were popular products. But Jan Snoei didn’t stop there, he saw more potential in his business…

1948

1957

In the late 1950s, Snoei started producing the construction components for the steel buildings in order to be able to offer complete solutions. Because of the good location of our factory in the harbour of Rotterdam, he decided to also start focusing on exporting in the early 1960s. The development took off from then…

1957

1969

In the late 1960s Snoei developed a unique prefabricated gable building, called Jawini. The name Jawini is a combination of the first two letters of the first names of Jan Snoei and his sons Wim and Nico. The Jawini quickly proved to be a success, but we didn’t stop there…

1969

1975

In the mid ’70s the company moved from Rotterdam and Rhenen to a brand-new building in Krimpen aan den IJssel. It didn’t take long before we started expanding our range once again…

1975

1983

The early 1980s were all about the Variant building. The Variant was developed as an alternative to the Romney. Another enormously successful product had been put on the market. About ten years later, another big development followed suit…

1983

1991

In the ’90s the production of corrugated sheets took off, and a new production hall was built. Snoei started producing more and more products in-house…

1991

2013

In 2013 we embarked on a dynamic trajectory, with the aim of further developing our products and further automating the production process.

2013
